Our Policies

Buyer’s Responsibility:

Unpack within 24-hours of delivery and inspect your tubers.  Contact us within two days, with pictures, if you have any concerns with your order. Tubers are a perishable item and buyers are responsible for tubers remaining viable once received. We do not offer refunds or replacement after tubers have been in your care after 72 hours.

Things Happen:

We only sell quality viable tubers with visible eyes. If for some reason your variety becomes unavailable prior to shipping, we will notify you through email as soon as possible. We ask that you reply to let us know if you would like an alternative or a refund. If we do not hear from you, we will issue a refund.

We work hard to guarantee the varieties you are purchasing.  We use three forms of tracking our varieties including labeling, mapping and row identification/numeric tracking.  Despite those steps mistakes can happen. If we ship you the wrong tuber or the bloom isn’t what you expected please let us know.  We will do our best to make it right.

Virus and Disease:

We take virus and disease seriously.  All our tubers and cuttings are sourced from reputable growers and grown a full season on our farm.  We take multiple steps to ensure our plants are as healthy and disease-free as possible.

  • We inspect plants weekly throughout our growing season.

  • Our team sanitizes snips between varieties and uses a 10% bleach solution while rotating snips each time.

  • We send any suspected plants to Agdia for lab testing and remove the plant from our dahlia crops. Tubers received from outside our farm spend one season in a quarantined area to ensure they are not spreading disease to our clean crop.  When in doubt, we dispose of any questionable plant.

  • Our farm is not a U-Pick farm and our dahlias are closed to the public from any type of harvesting. It is the safest way to protect our crops and adhere to our sanitation practices.
